Role and Responsibilities
You will be dealing with queries from the national team of employment lawyers and HR advisers, keeping them updated on recent and forthcoming changes and tracking queries to identify knowhow and training needs.
You will develop and maintain our employment law and HR resources, precedents, practice notes and other ‘know-how’ for the national team with the aim of increasing the quality, consistency and/or cost-effectiveness of the advice that we give to our clients. You will be involved in the provision of information services such as employment law/case law updates and client briefings and present training workshops and webinars.
You will have the opportunity to help to shape employment law of the future, by assisting our policy team, for example by contributing to relevant government consultations. You will also help design and produce new products and work closely with the marketing and BD teams.
About you
- Solicitor with 5 or more years relevant post qualification experience
- Genuine interest in and excellent technical and practical knowledge of employment law and employee relations
- Substantial experience of delivering employment law services
- First class drafting skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident in delivering online and in person training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work as part of a team
