Insignis welcomes latest hire to STR AG!
With our presence in Switzerland continuing to expand and our continental clients with ever-growing requirements, STR went in search of a Head of DACH to work for our Swiss entity, STR AG.
We’re therefore very pleased to introduce Michelle Moor, who will be initially working primarily with our sister brand, Blackfield, in the Life Science and Engineering, Manufacturing and Cyber markets. Now she’s had time to settle in, we wanted to catch up with Michelle and find out a little bit more about her…
Meet Michelle
Welcome to the team Michelle! Whereabouts are you from?
I’m Swiss but have lived in South East Asia, the US (Hawaii 😊), and London
Tell us what you did before working at STR?
All sorts, from gigs at the United Nations during Uni to Pilot Recruitment to Outsourced Staffing Solutions to Resource and Capacity Management in Banking and Biotech
What do you like about working in the staffing industry?
I love the fact that we find solutions for people who are at the top of their field in extremely complex and technical environments.
What drew you to STR and how have you settled in?
I spent the last 10 years on receiving end of sub-par recruitment and I was impressed by STR’s dedication to doing things better and being a fair and trusted partner for clients and candidates. As far as settling in goes, everybody I’ve worked with thus far has been super-friendly and extremely competent so I’m excited by what we can achieve together!
What are you looking forward to the most about your new role?
The chance to show the world that “staffing company” can be synonymous with “trusted partner”.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I’m pretty outdoorsy and spend a lot of time with my two dogs and Andalusian horse
What’s your favourite food/drink/film/place you’ve visited?
I’m fickle and usually whichever place I’m visiting is my favourite at that time. I do have particular fondness for Africa which I intend to explore further.
